Joe is one of the Director’s at Uniac, and has 13 years’ experience of risk, finance, general, compliance and IT auditing in both private and public sector. In addition to his, he holds 11 years’ management experience of delivering and managing internal audit programmes at multiple clients working with the executive on governance, risk management and strategic reviews.
He has strong technical knowledge of the IIA International Standards and holds numerous awards, including the CMIIA (Certified Internal Auditor and Chartered Management Internal Auditor), IIA (Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors UK and Ireland) and CIA (Chartered Internal Auditor). He also holds an MSc in Risk Management and a 1st Class BA Business Sandwich.
In his spare time, Joe is a Council member and Non-Executive Director of a HEI and has been the Chair of the Northwest IIA Committee, but now maintains a Committee seat.
Joe mainly specialises in risk and internal control, change, IT, compliance and estates and environmental audit work.
