Jane joined Uniac as Chief Executive Officer in January 2025, bringing 23 years' experience in professional services, including 13 years senior leadership as a Partner at PwC where she established and led the North West Government and Public Sector Internal Audit practice.
A Chartered Accountant and Internal Audit Specialist, Jane's experience includes leading the provision of internal audit, risk management and governance advisory expertise to organisations across the public sector, with primary specialism in the Higher Education sector, working in partnership with several large Universities across the North.
Jane has a passion for delivering exceptional client service based on high quality standards and trusted relationships. As Chief Executive Officer, Jane is responsible for the strategic, operational and financial leadership of Uniac, working closely with the Board to shape the future direction of the business.
Jane has extensive Non-Executive Board level experience, having chaired the Board of Pro-Manchester and as a founding Trustee of the Greater Manchester Mayor's Charity where she currently chairs the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee. She is also an independent member of the Group Audit Committee of Riverside Housing.
Jane holds a Master of Arts in European Politics from the University of Leeds and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
