Ed is one of Uniac’s Subject Matter Experts. He has 20 years’ experience working with the Higher Education sector, and has held leadership positions at big tech companies including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft and Cisco. At AWS, from 2012-2022, he set up and led the UK Education sector team, working with UK HE providers as they moved from traditional, on-premises IT environments to the cloud.
Ed holds a Law degree from the University of Birmingham. He qualified as a solicitor in 1991, and practised as a lawyer for 4 years before moving into technology.
He has strong interests in sustainability, EDI (equity, diversity and inclusion), and recruitment/interviewing best practices.
