Sue is one of Uniac's independent Subject Matter Experts. She has extensive experience of working in the HE Sector, having previously worked at KPMG in their public sector department for over 20 years specialising in HE Sector work.
Sue holds a first class joint honours degree in Mathematics and Accounting, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
She currently sits on the Audit Committee at Liverpool Hope University as a Co-opted Member and has held this position since June 2020. Sue also sits as an independent member of the GB Taekwondo Audit & Risk Committee and has held this position since 2018.
Sue has a broad range of experiences in particular in relation to financial systems, controls and processes. She also has experience of reviewing governance arrangements in relation to subsidiary companies and strategic partnerships, grant audits and other research-related activity, export controls and a range of other compliance monitoring areas.
