Interpretation is often a challenge, as is the task of remaining up to date with how UKVI applies the rules. The impact of refusal rates on smaller institutions, and the management of consultants and short-term / casual workers are two current hot topics. We supplement our experience with strong sector and UKVI links, which enables us to deliver effective compliance support. This year we are also running an extensive benchmarking exercise with GuildHE and, together with GuildHE and representatives of UKVI, will be hosting an event in autumn 2017.
