Cyber Security Tuesday 2 June 2015

This was our final event for 2014-15 and like the earlier value for money event attracted excellent speakers - IT practitioners from the Sector; from Universities UK and from the Information Commissioner's Office - and a large audience.

Cyber security remains a prominent topic in the sector - and one that is particularly challenging for institutions that pride themselves on being accessible and have a mission to collaborate and disseminate information, but are also frequently the custodians of data that needs to be held safely and securely. Sprakers explored the technical and structural solutions that institutions can and should be putting in place, as well as the challenges that need to be overcome to ensure security.
